Safety is our top priority! Our building has been approved by the Fire Department and we are regularly inspected. Our building is equipped with linked smoke detectors and numerous fire extinguishers are available. In addition, there is a clearly marked escape route. The staff also has emergency response skills and knowledge.

During the game there is an employee who watches and listens with 1 group for the entire hour. This is to help the group when they get stuck in the game, but also for safety measures. In addition, the doors of our Escape Rooms are not locked. You can therefore leave the room at any time in the event of an emergency, but also if you are not feeling well.

Unfortunately, we are not, or barely, wheelchair accessible. Our activities are located on the 2nd floor, and unfortunately, there is no elevator. There are three flights of stairs to climb before you reach the interior. Escape Rooms often feature narrow passageways. To reach Axe Throwing and the VR Experience/(B)Arcade, you will need to take an additional flight of stairs.

An Escape Room is an exciting and mysterious real-life game. You and your team (2-5/6 people, depending on the Escape Room) are locked in a room and your goal is to escape—and within the time limit! A nerve-wracking and challenging game where you search for puzzles, riddles, and clues under time pressure, and where teamwork will lead to the desired result: escaping in 60 or 75 minutes, depending on the Escape Room.

By order of the fire department, a maximum of 5 to 6 people are allowed in the room at the same time, due to safety and the size of the room. Due to the difficulty level of the room, a minimum of 2 or 3 people per game applies (depending on the Escape Room). 5 teams can play per hour in ‘regular’ Escape Rooms (29 people). 2 or 4 people can also play in a VR Escape Room Additionally, the Virtual Reality Experience can accommodate 16 people.

That is allowed, but it is only recommended if you have experience. The game remains the same, and there are just as many puzzles to solve as with a group of 6 people. Escape Room 'Royal Madness' is not recommended for 2 people.

Each group has a maximum of 1 hour to find the exit. If the group has not found the exit after 1 hour, the game is unfortunately over. Extending the time is not possible due to other reserved groups.
Escape Room 'Royal Madness' lasts 75 minutes.

An Escape Room is an exciting and mysterious real-life game and is perfectly suited as a unique outing with your family, friends, bachelor party, club, or colleagues. Unfortunately, our building is not suitable for people with severe mobility issues or those confined to a wheelchair. Participation in this game is at your own risk at all times. It is absolutely not dangerous, but it can sometimes be exciting. Unfortunately, people with a pacemaker are not allowed to participate in the game. People with epilepsy are also advised against playing the game. Please note that sometimes (very) narrow passages and small spaces may be part of the Escape Room.

Absolutely, the Escape Room is even very suitable as a team outing! The Escape Rooms at Escape Centrum Limburg are an exciting, challenging, and educational real-life game for colleagues during a staff outing or as a team-building activity. An Escape Room is the ideal way to literally experience cooperation and is therefore particularly suitable for teambuilding! In a playful way, you get to know yourself and your colleagues in a short space of time, and there is much to learn from that! Just like in the business world, there is a clear common goal in the Escape Room, and you must work together to achieve that goal within a deadline. Communication, collaboration, but also fun is what it's all about here.

With 4 Escape Rooms, 23 people can play at the same time per hour. If you add a VR Escape Room to that, 27 people can play simultaneously per hour. We also have a Virtual Reality room with space for 16 people at the same time (www.vr-sittard.nl). Are you with a larger group? Then it is certainly no punishment to ‘wait’ for a while in our large reception area. Escape Centrum Limburg is located a 2-minute walk from the Market, so if you want to grab a bite to eat or have a drink afterwards, it is perfectly combinable.

We have 4 lanes, and a maximum of 6 people are allowed per lane per hour. Therefore, 24 people can participate per hour.

Each session consists of a safety instruction and practice round of approximately 15 minutes. After that, there is 60 minutes of throwing ‘for real’. During the match round(s), the score is kept, and at the end, a winner is naturally announced. However, your entire team must be present 10 minutes before the start.

Each session starts with a comprehensive safety session. An axe is sharp, so you must handle it responsibly. Throwing is only permitted when the lane is clear; the ‘Axe-pert’ gives the signal to this effect. Other persons are not permitted to enter the lane when throwing is taking place. If the (safety) instructions are not followed, the ‘‘Axe-pert’ may decide to stop the game or disqualify participants. We assume that participants understand that sandals or other open shoes are not allowed on the throwing lane. Participation is, however, at your own risk. Each participant signs a waiver of liability in advance.

We attach great importance to the safety of our visitors. People who are clearly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will naturally not be admitted to the course. An ‘Axe-pert’ is authorized to deny you access, and unfortunately, you will not get your money back. So enjoy a drink afterwards.
